After a childhood of every sport imaginable that wasn't bikes, I brought my first bike (Raceline Team HT) at the age of 22. After dabbling in cross country for few years working my way into the pro elite category, I gained 9th overall for my first season. A sales job with a lot of travel eliminated my training schedule and saw me reaching for longer travel bikes. I now enjoy back country missions with mates and racing the format of Enduro. At the age of 30, last year I headed to Europe to chase the Enduro World Series, a crash at the start of the season saw me well down the ranks but I learnt a lot and saw so much of the world through the lens of my googles. Im currently based in Rotorua and most people know me as a Shuttle Driver for Southstar Shuttles in the Whakarewarewa Forest. This allows me to ride/train and work on my weaknesses to hopefully get back on the world circuit again to see what I can achieve.
